Fed up with a local pastor and his congreagation protesting their strip club, dancers have turned the tables on the Bible-bangers. They have begun showing up outside the church to protest them...
Like the club protesters, the church protesters yesterday came armed with signs, including one that read: "Matthew 7:15: Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing." "These church people say horrible things about us," said a bikini-clad dancer and mother of six. "The fact of the matter is, we're working to keep our own homes together, to give our kids what they need." Said the pastor of his congregants: "They have now seen the evil firsthand."
I have to side with the dancers and their owner on this one. The churchgoers were filming the license plates of the strippers' customers and posting them online. This is going overboard. The Bible said, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." The holy rollers time would be better served helping the poor instead of judging their neighbors.
