Large brawl disrupts Caz Carnival

Friday night they'll be dressed to kill
Down at Dino's bar and grill
The drink will flow and blood will spill
And if the boys want to fight, you'd better let them...

A large fight broke out at the Caz Carnival on Sunday involving 200 teenagers. This fight might as well have been on the carnival's schedule along with fireworks and the car show. Another story you won't read about in the South Buffalo News:

Teen accused of starting fight at carnival in park

Buffalo News

A Lackawanna teen is facing a long list of charges after Buffalo police say he provoked a large fight at a carnival in Cazenovia Park, struggled with officers and threatened to kill them.
Police said more than 200 people got into a fight between 9 and 10 p. m. Sunday at Cazenovia Park, where the South Buffalo Football Association’s 45th annual carnival was being held.
Michael K. Bobbitt, 17, is accused of inciting, and participating in, the large fight. Police say they found a knife when they arrested Bobbitt and a police report described him as intoxicated and very uncooperative.

He also is accused of trying to escape from a patrol car by kicking the doors and windows, trying to slip out of his handcuffs and threatening to kill arresting officers and Erie County sheriff’s deputies. The charges against Bobbitt include criminal possession of a weapon, riot and inciting to riot, obstructing governmental administration, criminal mischief, escape and numerous counts of disorderly conduct.

We don't have any video of the police literally throwing the book at Bobbitt. Combine alcohol, drugs and poverty with the breakdown of the family and things like this are going to happen. From what I hear, it took the dunk tank "insult clown" to finally break up the fight. Bobbitt was allegedly bailed out of South District headquarters by his longtime girlfriend, Lorena.

  2. There were rumours around that the 62(six deuce) punks were going to fight with the Seneca Street kids at the carnival. That may have been it.
