Kennedy sides with Cuomo over unions

Tim "Hortons" Kennedy, a robot for Andrew Cuomo and a huge financial benefactor of unions, actually had to make a decision recently. Of course, he betrayed his union buddies and supported Cuomo with Tier VI. The question is, will the unions take this snub lying down or will they actually do something about it?

It appears elected leaders will face some fallout from unions over the pension reform.

The 265,000-member Civil Service Employees Association earlier this month suspended political endorsements and contributions because of the enacted pension reform.

"Suspended?" The politicians will simply find other special interest groups to bribe them. Let's see how long this suspension lasts. Will the unions actually run people against the likes of Kennedy? When they were supposed to meet with him on the issue, Kennedy left his office and had an intern stand in for him. And this is the guy the unions sent to Albany? Many people will be judging their strength based on how they respond to Little Timmy. Here's a chance for them to put up or shut up.

    1. No. I'm not threatening anyone. I don't advocate violence. The Jimmy Hoffa line was just in reference to the need for a hard-nosed union leader. I've never called for violence against anyone on this blog

    1. Nope. This is a chance for the union people to withdraw their support from him and possibly support someone else. That's all I meant by it. Nowhere am I advocating any form of violence against Kennedy or anyone else. If someone has to resort to violence, all that means is they aren't confident enough in their argument.

  5. Tim KENNEDY, HIGGINS, and SCHRODER all endorsed Byron Brown. The Democrat party is more important to them then SOUTH BUFFALO. Shame on them and the sheep that support them.

  6. Your past posts have been deplorable and the way you talk about individuals is very disrespectful. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  7. This headline is terribly misleading. I read the article and the blog entry, I suggest you do the same. You call out Kennedy for voting with Cuomo but he is not mentioned in the news as voting for it. In fact, he walked out of the vote when he knew he was on the losing end of the vote, a great gesture if you are opposed and outnumbered, an honest move, in my opinion.
You are being intentionally misleading or your thoughts are based on nothing but your hurt feelings or blind anger. Either way it is bs.

    1. The union people are furious with Kennedy over this. They sent a busload of members to Albany to speak with him at a scheduled time. He stiffed them and had his intern greet them.

His non vote was no protest. He is afraid of both them and Cuomo. I'm not a union member. They are the ones who contacted me over this. I'm just relaying their feelings to my readers.

  8. Your still misleading your readers Mike. My point was you wrote "Kennedy sides with Cuomo" and provide a link to an article that has no mention of this. By the way, he did walk out in protest. I just read your past blogs and see now you have a problem with him, so it makes sense to me now.
Furthermore, it is also common to speak with his staff during lobbying appointments, it may not sound like a great thing to do, but prudent, as their schedule is ridiculous this time of year. I have been there and it is more common than not.
Sorry my man, but just because you got a call, or say it isn't so, doesn't make it untrue or a fact.
