Loaded handgun at Timon-Canisius game

Six teenagers were arrested and a loaded gun was confiscated following Wednesday night's Manhattan Cup basketball final between Bishop Timon and Canisius High Schools. From what I've been told, at least one of the six arrested was a student at Timon...

Six teenaged boys were arrested on felony charges of possessing a loaded handgun and other charges following a fight in the parking lot of the Canisius College Koessler Center about 9 p.m. Wednesday after a high school basketball championship game there.

Buffalo police reported finding a loaded handgun in one of the suspect’s vehicles. All six, two aged 16, one 17-year-old two 18-year-olds and a 19-year old were all charged with felony possession of a loaded firearm, weapons possession and six counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly violent behavior during a fight, unreasonable noise, obscene language and gestures, unlawful assembly and refusing to move on.

This is an isolated incident, as the majority of kids from both of these schools are not involved in this type of behavior. A very sad ending to what I heard was a good game between the two rival schools.
