Musical deals

It looks South Buffalo's career politicians are doing everything in their power to make sure you and I don't have any power at the voting booth. They are doing what they do best-making appointments to vacant seats to ensure independent candidates have no say in our region's future. From Geoff Kelly in this week's Artvoice...

The other major aspects of the deal are Lenihan’s departure as party chairman, a position to be filled at least temporarily by John Crangle, the Tonawanda party chief; a primary-free run for Assemblyman Mark Schroeder at the seat of Buffalo City Comptroller; the appointment of Councilman Mickey Kearns to Schroeder’s seat, assuming Schroeder wins; and a universal agreement among the Democratic faction to support, or at least not to undermine, Poloncarz’s challenge to Collins.

Of course, should all this come into play, that would leave Kearns' seat on the Council vacant, too. It says here it will go to one of Higgins' mindless buffoons. That way, you and I will have no choice for State Assemblyman, City Comptroller, or City Councilman. Just like we had no choice when Tim "Hortons" Kennedy was appointed to Schroeder's County Legislature seat and Tim "Einstein" Whalen was appointed to Horton's seat. Remember when we used to live in a democracy?
That Democratic Deal

Speaking of politics, did anyone see where Texas Governor Rick Perry, no relation to Journey's Steve Perry,

is having a tough time with his Presidential aspirations because of rumors floating around his district that he's white in the loafers? The link is at the end of this article. It's a good thing rumors like this aren't going around about any of our guys from South Buffalo. I'd hate to see an unassuming Blogger with a very large audience, adversely affect one's career over something so trivial as this. Not that there's anything wrong with it...

  1. out of curiosity, were exactly do you stand plitically. you are all over the board from mocking out just about every democrat in the city of buffalo, to even attacking republicans such as rick perry. i have bring into question whether or not you legitimatly know were you stand on politics, or if your just flat out bitter.

  2. I consider myself to be fiscally conservative and more to the left on most social issues. I am against career politicians from both parties. Bitter? You must be thinking of someone else. I told many politicians, I have no problem being on the outside looking in. However, I still have the right to be involved and people will hear my thoughts (should they choose to).

By the way, it's where, not were. Politically is spelled wrong and you need a question mark not a period at the end of that sentence. Also, you also spelled legitimately incorrectly and your should be you're. It's a good thing English wasn't a big part of the civil service test your uncle told you to take. Have a great day, Einstein.

Which annoyed you more the context of the question or the tone in which it was asked?

Now I'm annoyed at myself for inserting myself into such a ridiculous conversation.

  4. Looks more like some sort of musical chairs game. Or maybe moving up day. Either way, it does make it totally obvious the sense of entitlement our wonderful politicians have and the iron-fisted control they have over the system.

  5. You obviously don't care what you say about people and you have boxed yourself out from any governmental job anyways, qualified or unqualified (or should I say certified or not certified?)so why don't you tell us who is "light in their lofers"? This blog is to expose people so do it.

Stay tuned. It's not something I want to do, but will. On my time, when I feel like it. I have the same amount of respect for these guys, that they've shown for me-none.If you notice, my name is at the end of this comment.
