Where's the gong?
It's usually a bad idea when people famous for one thing, try their hands at another (see Michael Jordan's baseball career or Eddie Murphy singing My Girl Wants to Party all the Time). That being said, I have no sympathy for the 5,100 fans who paid $150 each to watch actor Charlie Sheen perform stand up comedy. What did they expect anyway? Most ended up walking out midway through the show.
I'm so sick of hearing about this guy. He is famous for being a TV actor. Now, he's became even more famous for being an addict. What ever happened to seeking help privately?
Sometimes the comments underneath the news articles are better than the stories themselves. One such comment underneath this story read, "I didn't even buy a ticket and I want my money back." I couldn't have said it better myself...

The Victory Club
A Detroit, Michigan man claimed a $128 million lottery prize after buying the ticket at a porn shop. Not a pawn shop, a porn shop. We have unconfirmed reports that School Board member Ralp Pornandez was in line behind him.
Mike Greer claimed the $128.6 million prize on Friday, on behalf of a group of southeastern Michigan residents that he dubbed "Team Victory Club." At a press conference in Lansing, Michigan, Greer wouldn't answer questions as to who purchased the ticket at Uptown Book Store in Highland Park, or why they were at the store in the first place.
Uptown Book Store, an adult novelty store a few miles north of Detroit that also rents pornographic videos, will get $50,000 from lottery officials for selling the winning ticket. It shares a building with the Deja Vu strip club.
After watching the following clip, I find it hard to believe Detroit is the poorest city in America. Ironically, the group says it's going to donate some of the money to an area church. There but for the grace of God, go I. I think they should use some of the winnings to buy the Fox reporter some speech lessons...

Update: Michigan wackjob
Jennifer Petkov, the crazy woman from Trenton, Michigan, has issued an apology to the family of the dying 7 year old girl she harassed on Facebook and in person. Neighbors are rallying around the tormented girl's family and a benefit is being planned. I wonder what meds Petkov is on to lead her to such strange behavior in the first place...

Crazy neighbor in Michigan
You want to meet a real wackjob? Check out this lady from Trenton, Michigan. Her name is Jennifer Petkov. She admits to taunting her neighbors, including their dying 7 year old daughter over a petty feud. The whole thing started when Petkov's child wasn't invited to a birthday party of another child. Pretty important stuff. After watching this footage, she might be the most annoying person I've ever chronicled on this site. Words cannot do her justice. Look at her idiotic husband next to her. He's afraid to say anything while she's talking. There might be a case for some Frontier justice in Detroit...

The fake cancer scam
It's always funny when they catch someone doing this. A woman from outside Detroit held fundraisers for her 12 year old son who was supposedly dying of cancer. She shaved his head and eyebrows and even gave him drugs to make him look drowsy at the benefits. Everything was going great until Child & Protective Services became involved...

Detroit: the worst city in America
Watch this amateur video catching a Detroit writer "marking" a bench on the new, day old bridge in the city. It never occurs to her that this might be looked down upon by the hundreds of other people enjoying the new landmark. Ironically, she is the editor of The Detroit Free Press and writes often about how a small number of idiots are ruining Detroit's image...
