I guess this is how they conduct hold ups in Idaho...
BOISE, Idaho -- Police in southwest Idaho say a man chose briefs over boxers to wear on his head as he held up a coffee shop and stole a safe.
Coffee shop owner Jason Wilson tells the Idaho Statesman says he believes the man was likely not prepared when he entered Big Star Coffee in Fruitland with an accomplice on Tuesday morning. Wilson asked: "Who robs something with underwear on their head?" BRIEF DISGUISE: Robber Wears Underwear On Head During Idaho Burglary
This is actual surveillance footage taken from the incident... "Do you know karate?" "No." "Good."...
Target in Orchard Park has released this surveillance footage of three pieces of trash stealing a purse someone accidentally left in their cart (probably and elderly person). Let's hope this footage leads to the arrest of all three.
Why work when you can just live off of the government and steal from others? It will be nice to see them in handcuffs once they are eventually apprehended. There is a $1,000 reward from WGRZ Crimestoppers. Please call 867-6161 if you have any information...
Has anyone been following the story of the "Geezer Bandit"? He's the old man who has been robbing banks in the California area. He is responsible for at least 16 holdups in California. The FBI now thinks he is a younger guy in an elaborate Halloween costume. The guy probably has stolen a few million dollars, but greed will eventually lead to his downfall. At least I hope so...
Based on surveillance video and witness interviews at the site of the bandit's latest heist — the Bank of America in San Luis Obispo, hit Dec. 2 — the FBI is now working on the theory that the robber has been faking all along.
A search warrant was served on a costume store in the San Luis Obispo area, demanding a list of all customers who bought a mask known as The Elder.
I've been watching FBI Files on YouTube and came across a similar case from several years ago in the state of Washington. The FBI dubbed Scott Surlock "the Hollywood Bandit." He went into banks dressed in obvious makeup. He was an amateur actor in real life. One of the law enforcement guys in the show says that 99% of bank robbers are desperate people, hooked on drugs or addicted to gambling. They are easy to catch, he says. The other 1% are professional thieves, who really plan out their crimes methodically.
Scurlock robbed 14 banks and the FBI didn't have a clue as to his identity until they rushed to the scene of his last holdup. He would buy a cheap getaway car with cash. Then, he would flee in the car (Some witnesses even wrote down the license plate #, which was still in the name of the previous owner.) Then he would drive to his van, which had been parked in an adjacent neighborhood and change out of his costume. I found this episode to be a good one and it will be interesting to see how they catch the Geezer Bandit. Listen, you little whipper snappers! Get the hell off my lawn!
Lots of crazy people running around Florida these days. You may have heard about this one. A man ordered a beer, left to rob a nearby bank, and returned to his beer as if nothing had happened. I suspect stuff like this happened all the time in Florida for years. The internet has just made people more aware of it...
Deputies received a call at 1:42 p.m. that a white male entered the Wells Fargo Bank, 8994 State Road 52, Port Richey, and left with an undisclosed amount of money. Shortly after, deputies encountered a man fitting the description of the suspect at the Hayloft Bar, 8954 State Road 52.
A bartender said Whittle had ordered a beer, disappeared for about 30 minutes, and returned to his drink.
Thank God for DNA testing. If it wasn't for it, this scum would probably have gotten away with the rape of a Buffalo woman. His arrest in another terrifying robbery got his DNA tested, where it matched that of a rape suspect in another case. Add 17 more years to his sentence and please build more prisons for guys like this and his associates. That's a nice suit, though. I wouldn't mind buying it from him, as he won't be needing it for the next 32 years or so...
Buffalo police are looking for a cross dressing bank robber this afternoon. How stupid. If he wore a mask, nobody would know his identity. Orchard Park police are looking for a man with a black garbage bag over his head. Perhaps he was on his way to a Bills game...

Watch this clip. This young lady's parents must be so proud of her. She gave two drunk guys from Clarence a ride home from a Lockport bar. On the way home, she texted a couple of her homies. Her homies, father and son scumbags, pistol whipped and then robbed the two unsuspecting men of $500 and credit cards. We have a very sad story to report today. Not much to add here. A hardworking deli owner, trying to run a business and be a good neighbor, is gunned down in cold blood by two thugs. Once caught, they should never see the light of day...

A masked gunman robs a bank. A customer follows him out of the bank and fires 4-6 shots at him with his gun. The whole thing is witnessed by a creepy looking man, who doubles as an Eastern Hills Mall's Santa Claus. No, this is not the script of an old Richard Pryor movie. It actually happened today out in Amherst.
A woman robbed an East side bank today. An alert teller somehow put a GPS tracking device inside one of the 100 dollar bills. The suspect seemed surprised when the police found her hiding inside a garbage tote next to her home, just a few blocks away. The ACLU has announced a rally for 12 noon on Wednesday outside of city hall, claiming the new GPS devices invade on the privacy of bank robbers...
BUFFALO, NY-Technology played a role in helping Buffalo Police nab a suspected bank robber Friday afternoon.
They say a woman, believed to be in her mid-20's, handed a teller at the Bank of America on East Delavan a demand note shortly after 1 PM.
The bag the teller handed over contained not only an undisclosed amount of cash, but a GPS tracking device as well.
The device helped police track down the suspect within minutes not far from the bank.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown will be addressing the arrest at a late afternoon news conference in his City Hall office. Stay tuned to wgrz.com and Channel 2 news for the latest on this developing story.

Buffalo Police have broken up a ring of high-school-age thieves that may have burglarized more than 40 homes and businesses.
Officers arrested six teenagers, ages 15 and 16, who are believed responsible for a string of 18 daytime home break-ins in South Buffalo and a similar number of thefts in the surrounding suburbs.
With the help of an eyewitness, a good tip, school police officers and a review of school attendance records, police were able to identify and arrest the six who police believe committed most of the crimes, said Lt. Patrick Roberts of the A District.
"A great deal of property was recovered," he said at a news conference announcing the arrests.
The suspects, some of whom are currently still attending high school, have been tied to 18 home break-ins in South Buffalo, as well as burglaries in Allentown, Lovejoy, Orchard Park, Lackawanna and West Seneca, said Mayor Byron Brown.
Police said parents of the suspects were shocked and pained by police revelations.
Brown added, "This goes to the importance of parental responsibility."
An interesting quote from a guy whose own son has been arrested twice in recent years for thefts. We will be following this story to see what kind of message the judge sends these criminals.

Police are searching area dentist offices today for the mugger who attacked the wrong woman on South Park and Lockwood Ave. The first rule of crime is never attack a woman at 5:30 AM after she comes out of Nick's... Mugger gets surprise from feisty victim
A mugger got the surprise of his life when the woman he just robbed on South Park Avenue early Saturday morning chased him down, jumped on his back and took back her wallet and later kneed him in the teeth, the victim told South District police.
The victim said she was on South Park at Lockwood Avenue about 5:30 a. m. when the man approached her and asked for change. Though the woman gave him a dollar, the man said: “I know you have more,” then grabbed her and threw her to the ground and took her purse-like wallet.
The woman, however, chased the man down, jumped on his back and took back her wallet. When the mugger attacked her again, he got kneed in the teeth, then fled, police said.

A would be bank robber in the town of Eden changes his mind after a brief wardrobe malfunction. He forgot to put his surgical mask over his face to conceal his identity. He also received a cell phone call from an accomplice, probably telling him he entered the bank maskless. He's in big trouble now. Thanks to the surveillance cameras, all the police need to do is compare his picture to all known doctors in Western New York:
Mom feels her son got a raw deal today after being sentence to 15 years in prison for the knifepoint carjacking/robbery of two University at Buffalo female students. No sympathy here. I wish the sentence was longer. I'm glad her son will no longer be on the streets. I love the way she tries to downplay the crime. All it was was an unprovoked, armed assault. This sentence sends a message to all other like minded criminals. If you commit a crime like this, you will pay the price...
Talk about ungrateful. This tough economy has even put robbers in a foul mood. A man robbed a Wendy's restaurant in Atlanta, Ga. at gunpoint the other day. Not happy with the $586 he made off with, he called the restaurant twice to complain. This sounds like something straight out of a 1970s Woody Allen movie. I hope when he comes back in a few weeks/months, they give him something really worth complaining about...
ATLANTA -- Police say a man who robbed a fast-food restaurant with a gun was so mad about the amount of loot that he called back twice to complain. The man walked up to the drive-through window of an Atlanta Wendy's late Saturday night, wearing a ski mask and holding a gun. He demanded the cash drawer, grabbed it and ran away. But police say he later called the fast food restaurant to complain about the amount of cash. Police say in one call he said that "next time there better be more than $586." He called again with a similar complaint.
Bank surveillance cameras were able to capture this photo of people believed to be accomplices in the darth vader bank robbery on Long Island. If you recognize anyone in this photo, please contact the FBI immediately.
Holy roller agrees to buy a computer off Craigslist. Meets seller at WalMart parking lot in Lockport. The guy points a gun to his head and demands $1,000.00. A few other people in the parking lot see them wrestling and beat up the 103lb. suspect, who happens to bear a strange resemblance to Alfred E. Newman.
On the bright side, he says his new computer is working really well and he is going to give the seller a high rating, except in the area of customer service...
