Lockport moving towards police state

More proof that traffic laws are most often enforced as a means for the city, town, village to make a profit off the backs of it's citizenry...

LOCKPORT - As it scrounges for money to balance a difficult 2013 city budget, the Common Council heard a pitch last week from Police Chief Lawrence M. Eggert to hire a new officer and place him on traffic enforcement full time.

"There's a fairly excellent chance that could pay for itself," Eggert told the aldermen. "I was doing some research, and traffic people pay for themselves about 4-to-1."

I can't even believe this fool was arrogant enough to bring this up at a meeting. Let's hire a full time traffic cop. Even though there is no need for one, it will bring the town tons of money, so the politicians can hire more of their underachieving kids. What a joke.

These lowlifes hide behind buildings and at the bottom of hills and "catch" people on very ticky tacky offenses. I can see if someone's talking on a cell phone or not wearing their seat belt, but that is not usually the case. This is not what our founding fathers had envisioned. In fact, it's one of the reasons they fled England.

If I lived in Lockport and saw this in today's paper, I'd be outraged. You can't even drive through some of these towns in WNY without worrying about being harassed and pulled over to make the town a profit. Now, they're not even trying to hide it and even "pretend" that it has anything to do with public safety. They're showing up to meetings and openly admitting it's a money making scam. Lockportonians: Stand up to the police chief. Do not support this unnecessary harassment/tax. Or, as the career politicians like to call it, "revenue".

Peeping Tom in Lockport

A woman in Lockport reported to Lockport police seeing some weirdo peeking through her window on Wednesday...

TOWN OF LOCKPORT—A Ewings Road woman called Niagara County sheriff’s deputies when she saw a man looking in her window just after 1 a. m. Wednesday.

Deputies searched the area in the 6500 block of Ewings Road and found footprints in the snow, pry marks on the door frame and scratch marks on a door knob, but no entry was gained, and no suspects were found.

The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Lockport police have released a composite sketch of the suspect. If you see this man, please give them a call...

Keeping it in the family

Watch this clip. This young lady's parents must be so proud of her. She gave two drunk guys from Clarence a ride home from a Lockport bar. On the way home, she texted a couple of her homies. Her homies, father and son scumbags, pistol whipped and then robbed the two unsuspecting men of $500 and credit cards. We don't have enough jail cells in this country for Amber and the people she consorts with...

Perverts' party cancelled in Lockport

A group of swingers tried to have a party tonight at the Lockport Fire Hall. They were rejected at the last minute when the Fire Company learned of their plans...

A sex party that had been scheduled at the South Lockport Volunteer Fire Hall on Transit Road for Saturday night was canceled after the fire company's board of directors learned about the plans for the event.

"The swingers party will not be going forward," said attorney Steven M. Cohen, who represents the volunteer fire company.

According to Cohen, a man filled out an application on Aug. 30 to rent one of the two fire halls for what was billed as a "family party."

Party planners were calling for some nontraditional events...

The party had a scavenger hunt theme, dubbed "Welcome to the Jungle." Among activities listed was "Truth or Dare."

An e-mail that had been sent to party guests described "two private on-site locations for use" of "adult" and "extreme" activities. Guests also were invited to rent rooms at a group rate at a nearby Holiday Inn.

Welcome to the jungle? I don't even want to know what that means? So, if you're looking for a good time tonight, head to Lockport. You might run into your favorite judge, teacher, or former Governor.

Craigslist part II

Holy roller agrees to buy a computer off Craigslist. Meets seller at WalMart parking lot in Lockport. The guy points a gun to his head and demands $1,000.00. A few other people in the parking lot see them wrestling and beat up the 103lb. suspect, who happens to bear a strange resemblance to Alfred E. Newman.

On the bright side, he says his new computer is working really well and he is going to give the seller a high rating, except in the area of customer service...
