Book Signing this Friday

If you want to encounter more white trash than at Tops on the first of the month, I suggest you check out the book signing taking place this Friday at the Dog Ear's Bookstore. A Who's Who of public sector leaches will be gathering (and no doubt telling each other how important their lives are) in honor of Jack O'Donnell's new book, Bitten by a Minnow. His first book, How I Nearly Blew Tim Kennedy's 2012 Election, is still available in paperback. A real page turner, this book chronicled how O'Donnell and Kennedy outspent their opponent nearly 400 to 1 and still managed to win by a sparse margin of 159 votes.

The first 50 people in attendance at the book signing this week will receive a free bottle of Five Hour Energy, in an effort to keep them awake throughout this pseudo-intellectual Borefest. I observed the guest list for this pompous gala (some 194 names) and could count the number of private sector employees on one hand. The young O'Donnell will be joined by City Comptroller Mark Schroeder and the soon-to-be-departing State Senator, Kennedy. After the event, Timmy will sit on Jack's lap, as 3rd grade students from the Discovery School read  Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat to them.

After looking at the guest list, I can tell you this: The real families of this community, whom I encounter every week. The ones who work real jobs and struggle to make ends meet, will not be anywhere near this incredible waste of time. They could care less about career politicians Kennedy and O'Donnell, or anything these two have been bitten by.

Lackawanna residents: fight this nonsense

Lackawanna proves again it's one of the most corrupt cities in Western New York. Former mayor and career politician Norm Polanski has been appointed (by people he appointed) to the post of Housing Authority Commissioner.

Lackawanna citizens of all races and colors should be outraged at the actions of this board. As mayor, Polanski is best know for hiring his two sons to the city's Sanitation Department. A state prison employee, Polanski is clearly attempting to get two taxpayer funded pensions. What a lowlife. Go work at WalMart! My message to Lackawanna residents: fight this obvious act of patronage. You own your government, not the political hacks. Do not accept this. Show up and be heard.

Missing South Buffalo man located

From WGRZ...

A Silver alert was lifted on Monday after a Buffalo man, reported missing by his family and friends, was safely located. 42 year old Michael Kearns was tracked down at an upscale restaurant in Albany. Kearns had been missing from the South Buffalo area since March 20th, after winning a special election to the New York State Assembly.

Add politicians to do not call list

I think most people agree with what this elderly woman had to say in the Metro Community News. She is sick of getting robotic messages telling her who to vote for...

I am an old lady woman who is tired of getting recorded phone calls bothering me and getting unnecessary flyers in the mail everyday. I am especially angry when I heard that nearly 200 thousand dollars is coming from Albany to influence this local election. Please, Please stop calling me. In these tough times, it is waste to spend thousands of dollars to change my vote. I will vote for the candidate who doesn't take money from downstate. Enough is enough. Leave this old lady alone!!!!

Did you notice how the career politicians exempted themselves from the New York State Do Not Call list? This is another tool by the political machine to make it difficult for outsiders. People like the woman above are sick of the harassment. The recorded messages are the worst. We need to take back our democracy from these used car salesmen. If enough people complain, we can stop this nonsense.

And the direct mailings have gotten ridiculous also. What a waste of paper and postage. Is it really necessary to send out a new negative flier every two days?

This old lady is sick of political calls and mail

Blog contributer responds to Fahey's salary

I would love for one of the South Buffalo political prostitutes to respond to this contributor. After you read this, you need to go outside, take down your Fahey sign, quit your government job, and go look for work in the private sector. This reader pretty much sums up how the rest of us feel about people of your ilk...

I can't believe that we taxpayers actually shell out $80,000 a year for that stooge to hold Jiggins' coat. This is an absolute outrage! People are hurting, and I mean really hurting in this neighborhood. We've had one ratbag politician after another promise us the world here in South Buffalo, but there hasn't been a decent paying job brought to this neighborhood since Republic Steel, Trico, Mobil Oil, etc., all closed their gates. And all we got in return for allowing manufacturing to leave our shores was boarded-up businesses, abandoned houses and lots of hot air from our so called "leaders." Please, no more lies about "Brownfield Redevelopments."

Meanwhile, the same self-centered opportunists keep getting elected to office around here, their war chests grow richer and richer, all while their army of political hack flunkies act as their Pretorian Guard. And this job for life comes at the mere price of shelling out to the legion of political hacks a few City/County/State jobs and the obligatory summer gig at the pools for their teenage kids. We allow these crooked politicians to get away with complete neglect of our communities, and at the same time everyone kow-tows at the local gin-mills to these thieves. Yes, times are good for the South Buffalo political class and their legion of flunkies who derive mainly from some of the most unenlightened members of South Buffalo's self-anointed "first families." Yeah, times are good for these elites, despite the fact that 99% of the rest of the people in the neighborhood are really suffering.

In my lifetime I've seen our South Buffalo neighborhood descend from what was once a respectable working-class area to what it is today, an inner-city urban ghetto comprised of the underclass and vestages of the white working-poor.

Yet, St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner and the Shamrock Run is on tap too: you just watch how many people will go out of their way to shake hands and slap the backs of these professional phonies. The Abbott Road/Potter Road/McKinley Parkway crowd will turn a blind ignorant eye to all the blight and poverty which now overwhelms the South Buffalo area and pretend that it's still 1952, as they elbow each other while trying to get their faces forward in the posed photographs with the local rat-bag politicians.

Some people need to wake up and see things for what they are and not what they were.

Siena Poll:Voters strongly oppose pay raises for NY state lawmakers

Sorry criminals. We know how these idiots like polls. A new Siena poll has found that New Yorker are overwhelmingly opposed to giving even a penny raise to any of them...

Sixty-seven percent of New Yorkers said state lawmakers do not deserve a raise; 74% opposed giving Gov. Andrew Cuomo a raise; and 78% opposed salary increases for commissioners of state agencies.

State legislators get a base pay of $79,500 a year, but most receive additional stipends for leadership positions.

$79,500 a year for a part time job, which most perform poorly. Yet, they have the nerve to try and give themselves more. Most of these clowns possess zero talent. I take that back. Tim "Hortons" Kennedy has shown considerable talent in the area of prostituting himself to Brian Higgins.

If they're so valuable, my question to them is why not take their considerable talents to the private sector? It takes 1,000 signatures to run on the Democratic line in the NY state primary for State Senator. I am currently raising money to pay college students (or anyone else) to help me collect signatures to run against the Pillsbury Dough Boy. I would propose a pay cut of $35,000/yr. If the other scumbags don't like it, they can go do something else.

What a loser

Mike Winder, the mayor of the Salt Lake City suburb West Valley, was caught using a fake name and identity to write flattering articles about his projects to the town's papers. He was able to fool at least four local publications....

The mayor of a Salt Lake City, Utah, suburb has confessed to creating a fake name to write stories for area newspapers in order to disseminate "good news" about his town.

West Valley Mayor Mike Winder admitted he used the name Richard Burwash to contribute more than a dozen stories over a two-year span.

What a tool. Talk about insecure. Why didn't he use Brian Higgins' old trick and just have one of his bumbling stooges sign their name to one of his self flattering letters? He went so far as to create a fake email account and pretend to be his alter ego (Richard Burwash)during phone conversations. I could never vote for someone this deceitful in any election. If he's willing to lie about this, what is he not willing to lie about? If I lived in West Valley, I'd probably shout, "Hey Richard!" real loud, every time I saw him at the supermarket.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/cutline/mayor-created-fake-identity-write-positive-stories-town-212433696.html

Just look at Winder's photo. He looks like Greg Marmalard from the movie Animal House. A guy who will do anything (moral or immoral) to make himself look good. These people are so easy to see through, it amazes me that more people do not...

Washington's Closet Queens

I'm not homophobic. I could care less whether someone is straight or gay. However, some of these Washington politicians have provided some great entertainment during the last few years. It's funny watching these married men, trained to be professional liars, come up with the worst excuses imaginable after they've been caught with their pants down.

The latest one is Indiana Congressman Phil Hinkle.

Hinkle used Craigslist recently to meet at an Indianapolis Hotel with a male escort. After he was caught, he said he was not gay, it wasn't sexual, and he paid the young man $80 to "talk about baseball"...???

Kameryn Gibson, the 18-year-old who said he was looking for a "sugga daddy" in the Craigslist posting, told The Star that he tried to leave the room that night and called his sister Megan after Hinkle identified himself as a lawmaker. He also said Hinkle tried to keep him from leaving, exposed himself and then -- after his sister arrived -- offered them $100 cash, an iPad and a Blackberry to keep quiet.
Hinkle: I paid young man $80 for encounter | The Indianapolis Star | indystar.com

Before Hinkle Twinkle, there was Senator Larry "Wide Stance" Craig from Idaho.

Another closet freak, Craig was caught in an airport bathroom in Minnesota trying to proposition the guy in the stall next to him (who happened to be a Minneapolis police officer). He denied any sexual intent, instead saying it was simply his "wide stance" that confused the police officer. Sure, Larry. His wife was the only person in North America who believed him.

Let's not forget former Clarence Congressman Chris Lee.

If you think this spaz resigned over a shirtless photo, you're exactly the type of naive person these lowlifes like. Lee resigned because it was about to come out that the married father had a thing for cross dressers. Not that there's anything wrong with it. Initially, Lee tried to weasel out of it by saying his computer had been hacked. When the press wasn't buying it and more trannies started to surface, he finally began packing his bags (and all the whips and chains in them). Lee gets the Bill Paxon/Jim Keane Lifetime Achievement Award for not returning back to Western New York after his resignation.

House member Anthony Weiner is not gay, just a complete idiot.

Weiner came up with a comical excuse after sending lewd pictures of himself to several women. First, he said his Twitter account had been hacked (must have been the same guy who hacked Lee's computer). Then, he tried to say all the allegations were just weiner jokes about his last name. I'm not kidding. After more women (and pictures) came forward, Oscar Meyer finally came clean.

Eric Massa's attempts to argue his way out of a scandal might be my all time favorite.

After a few of Massa's male staff members alleged that he had sexually harassed them, he tried to convince the public it was just a joke gone bad. He said he and his staff members would sometimes engage in "tickle" parties on his office floor. He thought the general public would accept this as him being "one of the guys". Instead, his tales of tickling young male staffers were met with dead silence by most. Massa resigned and was last seen heading towards a highway rest stop...

Letter to the editor- Signs

I've held the same opinion as this letter writer for a long time. Politicians should keep their names off of public signs. It would be wrong to single out Deputy Mayor Brown. He certainly is not the first person to use signs as free advertising. They all do it. It's nice to know there are people as fed up as me. Patty Doyle of Elma wants to use duct tape to tape over their names. I hope this is a trend that spreads...

Politicians names don't belong on signs

In last Saturday’s Off Main Street column, Frank Maddock said that Mayor Byron Brown’s name does not belong on the new surveillance camera signs. He’s absolutely right, but we should go one step further. Every politician’s name should be removed from every sign on public property. I am sick of seeing politicians’ names plastered on signs at parks, buildings, etc.

Too expensive to replace the signs? I’ll donate the duct tape needed to cover up the names of Brown and all politicians who think they deserve to have their names on taxpayer-funded property.

The article ends by saying that Maddock “suspects ego may have something to do with it.” No doubt.

Red flag

I found this on Congresspervert Anthony Weiner's Wikipedia page...

Weiner took the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT), and entered Brooklyn Technical High School. He had missed admission to Stuyvesant High School by one point.[7] After graduating (1981), he attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he played hockey. He sought to become a television weatherman, but his interests turned towards politics, and he became active in student government.

We should have known. The blank look on this weirdo reminds me of Douglass C. Neidermeyer from Animal House. A pledge pin. On your uniform?...

Assembly seat may be opening- Send in the clowns

Assemblyman Mark Schroeder no sooner announced his candidacy for City Comptroller when at least five people expressed interest in taking his job. The Blogger will be collecting resumes and conducting endorsement interviews in the coming weeks. He will also be putting political ads on this site (so get your check books out). I spoke to the South Buffalo Rooster at the Caz Carnival (AKA Scumfest) this weekend. Here are some people being pushed and a few pushing themselves:

Mickey Kearns- Probably sick of fielding complaints about potholes. With name recognition from his mayoral bid, Kearns would seem to be the early favorite. Odds 2:1

Lou "Pinocchio" Petrucci-
Photobucket
Never met a lie he didn't tell. Pinnocchio's puppet strings are pulled by the perennial political opportunist Ray "Wrong Turn" McGurn. Think about how many politicians I've covered on here. When I tell you that Lou's willingness to lie supercedes all others, that should really open up people's eyes and carry some weight. This man will lie about anything to anyone. It's no wonder people that don't even know me or my blog are starting to refer to him as Pinocchio. Just like Brian Davis, says here Lou is lying about his college degree. He talks a good game, but I don't think he has one. But as long as he's lying about everything else, he might as well lie about that, too.Was also a strong supporter of Andrew Cuomo against South Buffalo's Carl Paladino. A fact the Blogger will remind Carl (and his money) of. Should have been loyal, Pinocchio.Odds 2,500:1

Jeff Conrad- Pushing himself. Brian Higgins is not dumb enough to make the same mistake twice. Higgins obviously tapped the intellectually challenged Conrad for Councilman as a favor to one of Conrad's relatives a few years back. He knew he could control him, but doesn't want the inevitable headaches that would come out of Albany this time. If he were to anoint the Special Olympian this time, I'd have to say Higgins is dumber than I look. Conrad also was a strong supporter of Cuomo, convincing his supporters (all three of them) to vote against Carl Paladino. Bad move. Odds 100:1

Some guy named McGavis
- Don't know him. Think he's a member of Goin' South, which is all anyone really needs to know. Next. Odds 100:1

The insult dunk tank clown from the Caz Carnival- Has as much schooling as Petrucci and Conrad combined, and is at least as honest. Odds 25:1

Anyone interested in the position should come see the Blogger immediately. It would be a good idea to bring some Imperial pizza and kneel before thou and kiss my rings. I'm waiting. Send in the clowns...

Your leaders

Congratulations South Buffalo residents: These are the people you've currently entrusted as your leaders:
Photobucket
Tim "Einstein" Whalen- High Pants Higgins' handpicked choice for County Legislator. Aligned with the Republicans on the legislature because he is told to by his royal High Pants. At least he spelled his name right on his SAT's... We think. Might be getting some unexpected competition in a few months, from a dark horse with some surprising support.

Photobucket
Tim "Hortons" Kennedy-Not known for his public speaking prowess or intellect. Kennedy is well known in the district ( at various fast food restaurants).

Photobucket
Mickey Kearns-Very good at criticizing the mayor and getting quotes in the Buffalo News. However, not very good at producing results. He makes a lot of promises and puts his faith in the wrong people. Instead of listening to suits at city hall and blowhards, he should listen to the people who got him elected. (For some reason, people like to say I work for Kearns, I'm on his payroll, etc.) I laugh whenever I hear this. That's news to me.

Photobucket
Brian "High Pants" Higgins- Missing in action since he went to Washington. Announced last Fall that Waterfront development was completed. Could have fooled the thousands of people not frequenting it. I've always said, the most underrated beaches are always the ones that don't allow swimming. Career politician from birth. Has yet to answer as to why he pays local political hanger-on Rick Finnegan $20,000/yr in taxpayer money to literally do nothing.

Photobucket
Mark Schroeder-He said the new WalMart on Seneca Street was going to be a "gamechanger." Despite no opposition to the project,we haven't heard any more about it for months, leaving many residents wondering what time the game starts???

Letters to the editor: downsizing

I agree with this letter writer from West Seneca about the need for Western New York to have significantly less politicians "representing" us...

Too many politicians for falling population
Reading The News coverage of the recent census figures has been frustrating in more ways than one. Not only have local leaders failed to stop Erie County’s population loss, they have failed while someone like Kevin Gaughan has been offering ways to reverse our decline. We’ve all become familiar with Gaughan’s research that shows Western New York has a bloated number of elected officials. His statistics would be eye-opening even if we were a growing area. But in the last decade, Erie County lost more people than any other county in New York State. Yet we still have an overload of politicians. Gaughan’s solution of streamlining local governments and the State Legislature is right. His downsizing successes have saved local taxpayers money, and if he can do the same thing with the Legislature, we’ll all benefit. There are areas all over America that face the same difficulties of climate and geography that we do. But they’re growing while we’re dying. The only difference is that those successful areas don’t bear the cost of multiple governments, and the large number of politicians that come with them. Karen Ryan West Seneca

When you hear these political types talking about the potential to lose "representation" it is laughable. In fact, the only people speaking out for more of these clowns are the clowns themselves, their staff members, and the respective family members. Why would they want to get rid of the golden goose? The rest of us aren't served by them at all.

Do you think people like Tim "Hortons" Kennedy or Tim "Einstein" Whalen significantly affect your life in any way, shape, or form? Believe me, you and I would do just fine without them. They bring less than nothing to the table. If it means getting rid of political hacks like these two, please, do us all a favor and give us less representation.

Threatening email released

The threatening email sent to state lawmakers was released to the public yesterday. I swear I had nothing to do with it. I don't know why some people resort to violence against elected officials, when it is so much more enjoyable to just make fun of them. Here is one excerpt from the email...

"My group is going to do everything possible to provoke terrorist attacks on New York by al-Qaida, and by Tea Party nut cases, and by religious extremists, lone wolves and anyone else we can provoke into picking up a gun. We want to create anarchy."

I guess this blog would fall under the "lone wolf" category...

Please Recall This Guy

New York State's Finest Piece of White Trash, State Senator Bill Stachowski

Man, my pictures really stink. But you get the point. How does this man sleep at night? Read the article in today's Buffalo News. It documents how a borderline disabled man can stay in office for almost 30 years. Have you ever seen this man walking around your neighborhood? Chances are, you won't either. Bill Stachowski has no shame. He doesn't live next door to you. He was elected almost 30 years ago based solely on his last name. If it wasn't for his father, this guy would be making buttered lambs in the Broadway Market.

Today's article talks about how he and Senator Dale Volker (another bottom feeder) have been able to stay in office for so long. This article shows how New York State government is not a democracy. If you're going to keep voting for Stachowski every so many years, at least buy a dozen eggs to throw at him in public. Someone please tell me there is a jail cell with his name on it somewhere.
Pork dollars are in essence buying votes*

Clowns in Space

County Legislator Tim Kennedy, pictured here, hopes to become the second clown to make it into outer space.

Canadian circus clown Guy Laliberte paid $35 million dollars to join a Russian and an American astronaut on a 9 day mission to the International Space Station. Laliberte, 50 is an experienced fire eater and stilt walker from Quebec. He is hoping to use the mission to publicize the world's growing shortage of clean water.

County Legislator Tim Kennedy hopes to soon become the second clown to be launched into space. The nine days off from work won't be a big deal since it's no secret Kennedy doesn't do anything to justify the $43,000/year he makes for his part time, no-show job as an Erie County Legislator. Unless you count fawning over Brian Higgins like a schoolgirl, as work duty. He's never seen in his S. Park Avenue office and no constituents would even notice if he were gone for nine years, much less nine days. Kennedy is a graduate of the Bill Stachowski do-nothing- but-sit-on-your-ass school of government. He was recently quoted as saying, "I don't know if I can be away from Brian Higgins, err, I mean my wife, for nine long days."
