Tuesday night fights in Jamestown


Big fight in Jamestown involving 50-60 people. Combatants were using baseball bats and hockey sticks. At least they are supporting the local sporting goods industry...

JAMESTOWN, NY (WKBW) -- Police in Jamestown have made two arrests following a large neighborhood fight involving fifty to sixty people late Tuesday night.
Jamestown Police responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a large fight on West 9th Street near the intersection with Cherry Street.
Reports said there was an altercation with about 50-60 people, with some combatants using baseball bats, hockey sticks, tree branches and bricks.
Sometime during the altercation, a man pulled a rifle out of his pickup and pointed it at some people in the crowd, threatening to shoot them.
Police arrested Jason Fardink, 36 of Sherman, NY and Nicholas Dean, age 20 of Jamestown, NY. Fardink was charged with 2nd degree Menacing and Dean has been charged with Disorderly Conduct.
