Hey, you never know

The 7 office workers who won the $319 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot last week had an eighth coworker who decided not to go in on it. He said he wasn't feeling lucky. They haven't publicly identified him yet. However, he would be the guy you see jumping off the nearest bridge tomorrow. In an effort to make him feel better, one of the winners said she would buy him a cup of coffee tomorrow. I never buy lottery tickets. However, whenever I was approached by a group at work, I always threw them a buck or two. There was no way I was going to be this guy...

The New York co-worker who regularly played in the office pool opted out on the night they had the winning ticket according to an Albany, N.Y., deli owner who knows the winners.

"They asked him a couple of times, and he didn't feel lucky," said Jill Cook, owner of Cook's Deli, where the group often comes for lunch.

She said she heard the news through buzz from the nearby office, adding that she felt "terrible" for the man..
