Items valued at $48,000 stolen in Black Rock
A Black Rock man told police early Sunday that somebody broke a window to get inside his house and stole five weapons, including an AK-47 and two shotguns, plus a safe containing $35,000 in cash.
Leather jackets, video games, a flat-screen television and about a dozen pair of boots also were stolen, according to a police report. The stolen items were valued at about $48,000.
