This Day in History 11/22/63

Sad day in US history. Listening to Walter Cronkite report the news, I can only imagine the shock that must have went across the country when it was reported that JFK had been assasinated in Dallas, Texas. One thing that's gone away in the age of the internet and text messages is the shock of the televised special report.

Here is a song by Dion that I know my sister Debbie, a local Presidential historian will appreciate. It is called Abraham, Martin, and John. There is a great quote in it attributed to Abraham Lincoln which I had never heard before, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."
