The roundup was finished early this morning, but it wasn't the usual suspects Lackawanna police targeted.
An estimated 150 sheep and goats, as well as a couple of cows, escaped late Tuesday night from the Lackawanna Halal Market on Ridge Road, where animals are slaughtered according to Islamic tradition.
Police were notified shortly before 11 p.m. about loose animals near the market, Capt. Joseph Leo said.
