A man in Madison, Wisconsin was so upset that Sarah Palin's daughter was on Dancing with the Stars, he shot a gun at the TV.
According to the criminal complaint, Steven Cowan's wife says "Steven was upset that a political figure's daughter was dancing on [Dancing with the Stars] when Steven did not think that she was a good dancer." Cowan's wife says he went upstairs and got his gun.
I can only imagine how upset he would get if she was on American Idol. The shocking part of the story is that his middle name isn't even Wayne. Apparantly, he's a Town Supervisor...
Neighbors of Cowan tell 27 News in Madison that everyone knows who he is in the Town of Vermont, where he is a Town Supervisor, and many of the neighbors we talked to had known him for at least 20 years. One neighbor told 27 News he considers Cowan a good friend and never saw any signs of anything unusual in all his years of knowing him.
Hey, the guy went off the deep end. I'd say he took the show a little bit too seriously but Reality TV will do that to you. We found some exclusive footage of the incident...
