Serving on the school Board must be a tough job in Buffalo. One member (Vivian Evans) actually lives in Maryland and shows up once every 7 weeks for meetings. We're waiting for South (Park District) member Lou Petrucci to take a hard stand against one of his fellow political hacks. I'll start holding my breath now...
Talk about a joke. School Board member Vivian Evans says she plans on keeping her seat on the board, despite the fact she has moved to Maryland! This is obviously some sort of stalling tactic to either land a better job here or buy some time to have one of her political allies take over for her. Evans should be removed immediately. Let Ralph Pornandez find her replacement. He's a trustworthy guy.
It's hard to believe the children in the city schools perform so poorly when they have such articulate people like Evans representing them. Listen to her in this clip. If Evans needs advice, she can always talk to fellow residency violator James Kane. But at least Kane lives in New York state!
