-CBS announcer Brent Mustberger was arrested after the game outside the stadium, for stalking the girlfriend of Alabama Quarterback A.J. McCarren.
-The guy at the Blackthorn must have felt like an idiot doing 14 pushups, when the game was clearly over.
-The play of the game was when McCarren got into a shoving match with his Center despite having a 30 point lead with three minutes left in the game.?????? That was just strange.
-Alabama announced they will defend their title in 2013 by opening up against the University of Phoenix, Oral Roberts, and the Peter Picalo School for Hair Design.
