Even a casual reader of this blog knows, we cannot let a story go involving a gorilla costume. However, this bizarre story is not as it appears to be. It seems a man in San Antonio, Texas was struck by a car while being chased by another man, who happened to be dressed as a primate. Sounds like a typical night out on Seneca Street, doesn't it?
Upon closer examination, authorities found out the man being chased had threatened to kill himself. The man in the gorilla outfit was actually an employee of a nearby tropical- themed restaurant, who was trying to save his life.
The down on his luck man was listed in stable condition. As Paul Harvey liked to say, now you know the rest of the story.
