Amherst man charged with making threats

 From WIVB: An East Amherst man has been charged with threatening to blow up a local golf course...

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - An East Amherst man has been arrested, accused of making bomb threats against a golf course.
Robert Stevens, 65, was arrested on July 2nd on second degree aggravated harassment charges. Amherst Police say throughout the month of June, Stevens called Glen Oak Golf Course on Smith Road and threatened to bomb the course and to burn golf course property.

Police say Stevens, pictured below, is a former assistant greens-keeper at the club, who once played 18 holes with the Dali Lama...
