Wendy Lashon Battle, a single mother of four, was ordered today to spend weekends in jail over the next four months for assaulting a teacher in front of a sixth-grade class at Buffalo's Charles Drew Magnet School last spring.
"I'm not a bad person, I was just having a bad day," said Battle, who pleaded guilty Aug. 31 to a felony attempted assault charge.
