Hall vs. Oates
From the Truth is Stranger than Fiction Department: In Norwalk, Ohio last week, 40 year old Scott Hall was bitten by his 48 year old friend, Robert Oates (pictured here with the bite marks to prove it.)
As much as I'd like to play She's Gone from their 1976 album, I guess in the end there really was no other choice...

Threatening email released
"My group is going to do everything possible to provoke terrorist attacks on New York by al-Qaida, and by Tea Party nut cases, and by religious extremists, lone wolves and anyone else we can provoke into picking up a gun. We want to create anarchy."
I guess this blog would fall under the "lone wolf" category...

We found your other sock...

morning, before police located his van ... with pornographic photos inside ... and found him hiding nearby. The incident began at about 4:15 a.m., when Lt. Edward Baker checked on a suspicious van behind Wimbledon Plaza and found pornographic photos spread across the front seat and dashboard. The lieutenant also found an occupant in the back seat, wearing only one sock. The man in the van wouldn't get out of the vehicle and instead fled from the scene in the van, almost getting into an accident on Center Road before the pursuing lieutenant lost sight of him on a
side street. The fleeing driver ditched the van at a Seneca Street collision shop, before Baker found him hiding on top of a nearby abandoned travel trailer.

Next Time Call a Cab

From today's Buffalo News: They say misery loves company. A guy from Depew was charged with DWI. He decided to call his friend, one of my drunken neighbors from Koester St., to pick him up at the State Police barracks. Bad idea. He was also charged with DWI when he showed up drunk to pick up the first guy. The first guy should have just told the police his last name was Keane, Kane, Comerford, Lotempio, etc. Not only would police have let him go without any charges. They probably would have given him an escort home and named their first born sons after him.
Man called by DWI suspect for a ride charged with DWI
A Buffalo man called to pick up a drunken Depew man at the State Police barracks Wednesday evening was arrested by troopers after driving to the barracks drunk, police said.
The initial DWI charge was lodged against Ronald R. Taylor, 39, of Transit Road, who was spotted talking on his cell phone on the Thruway at about 7:20 p. m. When Taylor’s ride home, Terry L. Branka, 40, of Koester Street, arrived to pick him up, he also was charged with DWI, police said.
Another man, a Lancaster resident, arrived later to take both men home. He was not drunk, police said.

What You Do in The Privacy of Someone Else's Home is Your Business, Steve...

The biggest weasel in Western New York, G. Steven Pigeon- Just look at this picture. Doesn't he look like a trustworthy guy? He was the guy in high school voted most likely to snitch on one of his classmates.
From today's Buffalo News: Apparently, a man keeps breaking into a Bidwell Ave. woman's apartment and wearing her lingerie. I wonder if it's the same cross dressing weirdo that robbed a pair of hot pink underwear at knifepoint from a Niagara St adult book store last week(???)
Buffalo News 11/5/09
Police are investigating the suspicions of a Bidwell Parkway woman who believes a man has been secretly visiting her apartment and wearing her nightclothes.
Police said the woman suspects four such visits over the last two weeks —the most recent Tuesday, when she discovered a coffee cup missing, and Wednesday, when she found her closet door opened, clothing on hangers moved and a bathrobe smelling of men’s cologne.
Buffalo police have not released the names of any suspects but a source close to the investigation claims that former Erie County Democratic Chairman G. Steven Pigeon has been labeled as a "person of interest".

Beware-Cross Dressing Freak on the Loose

Armed robber steals hot pink underwear
An armed robber escaped with some hot pink underwear from a Niagara Street adult gift shop early Tuesday, according to Buffalo police reports.
A representative for the Great American News store at 1700 Niagara St. told police the thief entered the building at about 5:45 a. m. brandishing a knife. He then proceeded to throw a display case to the ground and stole the underwear, valued at $35. It was unclear whether he made off with any other items, police said.
