Where'd they find this guy?
A father buying his son the South District Council seat is one thing. But can you imagine being handed the keys to a large industrial nation?
I hope for everyone's sake, the people pulling Kim Jong Un's strings are smart enough to keep him from making any real decisions. Can you imagine this Rolly Polly dictator authorizing missile deployment? I've seen Amish kids whose parents were also first cousins who looked more normal than North Korea's version of State Senator Tim Kennedy.

International update: North Korea

We've all heard the expression that everyone mourns the loss of a loved one differently. Try telling that to North Korean officials. They are handing out six months of hard labor in their infamous prison camps to those who didn't cry or seem "sincere" enough while doing so, at the funeral of Kim II Jong...
An anonymous source tells the Daily UK, a South Korea-based publication in opposition of the North Korean regime, that "authorities are handing down at least six months in a labor-training camp to anybody who didn't participate in the organized gatherings" to mourn the death of Supreme Leader Kim Jong II, and to those "who did participate but didn't cry and didn't seem genuine."
It is estimated that 40% of prisoners at these camps die from malnutrition. Not exactly Club Med. Here is a photo of some North Korean citizens at the ceremony pretending to be upset in order to avoid jail time...

Standing out in the crowd

In the above photo, one man appears to be twice as tall as the men on either side of him. Some believe he could be North Korea's only basketball star, Ri "Michael" Myung. Others speculate, the man might just live too close to one of their nuclear reactors.
