House of prostitution

And all of this time, we thought our economy was struggling. Since 2005, 26 full time positions have been added at the Board of Elections. High paying, mostly unnecessary jobs. The funniest part of this story is when Democratic Elections Chairman Dennis Ward says with a straight face that people often drop off their resumes(2:00). "We don't have any jobs at this time, but you're welcome to apply to the Main Place Mall food court."

People should stand across the street at the parking ramp and throw eggs at these lowlifes when they arrive for work at 10:30AM...

Board of Elections tampering

It turns out the suspect who sent out the already marked absentee ballots is likely an "old guard" Democrat, according to channel 4. They were sent out marked for Chris Collins, apparently in an effort to make Collins look like a little cheater. The only question that remains after watching this channel 4 clip, is whether Democratic Elections Commissioner Dennis Ward wears a rug?

Are they serious?

The public wants to vote on reducing the size of the Erie County Legislature from 15 to 11 members. The two elections commissioners, using a very weak loophole, decided to prevent the measure from going to the voters. Judge Sedita ruled against the commissioners and said there would be a vote. Now, lawyers representing the commissioners are planning to appeal. So, your taxes will be paying to fund these parasitic lawyers and their attempt to protect the jobs of these commissioners' relatives.People should be outraged. Democrats and Republicans working in a bipartisan manner to screw the taxpayer once again. We need to get rid of these two clowns...

BUFFALO, NY - Lawyers representing the Erie County Board of Elections filed a notice of appeal Friday to Justice Frank Sedita's decision that a measure to downsize the County Legislature can appear on the November ballot.

The measure would allow voters to decide whether or not to shrink the size of the Erie County legislature from 15 members to 11.

Erie County elections commissioner Dennis Ward had said the wrong person turned the paperwork to the board of elections, so they (Board of Elections) took the measure off the November ballot.

Community activist Kevin Gaughan and several members of the Legislature fought that ruling in court and won.

In a statement Friday, Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul said, "I hope they reconsider the appeal. Taxpayers should not have to fund an effort that undermines their voting rights."

Board of Elections liars

This is really appalling. The Democrat and Republican in charge of the Erie County Board of Elections are working together to prevent citizens from voting to downsize the County Legislature. From what has been reported, both have relatives that stand to lose patronage jobs should the legislature be reduced. They are trying to use some ridiculous loophole, saying the wrong person handed in the paperwork! Give us a break. Dan Ward and Ralph Mohr: Everyone in Western New York knows you are lying and your efforts will fail. Stuff like this is what has people so angry at career politicians.

Downsizing advocate Kevin Gaughan and Erie County Executive Chris Collins are suing to make sure this referendum gets put on the ballot. Unbelievable. For Ward and Mohr to say (in this clip) that their efforts are not political, is an insult to anyone with half a brain. Admit you're wrong and put it before the people that pay your salaries.
