John Hughes was an American filmaker responsible for such films as The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Home Alone, Vacation, Sixteen Candles, Planes,Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck, and many others. He was known for creating many memorable characters in his films and examining teen life in a way that had never been done before. He went out for his evening walk last week at age 59 and dropped dead from a heart attack. I never realized when he was alive how many great films he was involved with. Here is the ending from The Breakfast Club, a film about a group of high school students with very different lives that spend a Saturday together in detention at their high school. It's a very good ending scene to the movie.
