With so many young people looking for police positions, it makes you wonder who was going to bat for Jorge Melendez. Melendez, it turns out, was a FBI informant in New York City. He was deeply involved in the drug trade back then. Either the city of Buffalo is completely inept at screening who they hire, or somebody knew something. This character should have never been given a badge...
I no longer will take my daughter to the park next to our house, drug dealers sell and smoke pot all day. I called the police dozens of times and they would show up an hour later and not get out of their car. Now i drive to West Seneca, and when she starts school we will move there.
this guy had a partner selling drugs in south Buffalo who the Buffalo cops would not touch, the FBI had to bust him. More cops need to go.
