T.O. throws coach under the bus-again
From the it's hard to believe department: T.O. is blaming the coaches for the Cincinnati Bengals 2-10 record. I know it's shocking, but here's what Batman told Robin on their TV program (in case you weren't one of the 3 people who happened to be watching the show)...
The 37-year-old receiver reverted to his old ways on Tuesday night during “The T.Ocho Show” on the Versus sports network. Teammate Chad Ochocinco(notes) asked him why he thinks the Bengals are 2-11, drawing T.O.’s sharpest criticism of the coaching staff to date. “I think there’s underachieving from the top down,” Owens told Ochocinco. “You start with the owner, you start with the coaches. And obviously we as players, we are a product of what the coaches are coaching us throughout the course of the week. Of course, we have to go out there and play the game.
“But in order for us to do what we’re allowed to do at the best of our abilities, the coaches have to put the players in the best position.”
These two are the biggest clowns in professional sports, especially Johnson. He had a good season a few years ago and then became more interested in being a celebrity than an athlete. Both are known to quit on plays. Now, Owens is saying the coaches are to blame. They have the same number of wins as they do reality shows. These guys both talked a great game-in August. I never heard Batman and Robin make excuses or blame rising crime on the police in Gotham City...
