NEW YORK (AP) - The New York gubernatorial candidate from the "The Rent Is Too Damn High Party" now has a talking plastic "hero" doll that repeats his catch phrase.
A Connecticut company that makes action figures is selling one of New York governor wannabe Jimmy McMillan.
Priced at $49.99, the McMillan doll announces, "The rent is Too. Damn. High."
Those words made him a one-theme political sensation when he spoke them during a debate, wearing black gloves and mutton chops.
Emil Vitale owns the online company Herobuilders.com. He launched his latest product on Monday and by Wednesday sold a few hundred of the 12-inch figures.
Vitale says he's seen the candidate only on TV.
He also makes a plastic Sarah Palin, Barack and Michelle Obama and other talk-of-the-town figures.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino says he wants to cut the Medicaid health care program for the poor in New York by $20 billion.
Paladino says the nearly $52 billion program which has grown to be the most expensive in the nation because of optional services approved by lawmakers at the urging to the powerful health care lobby.
He says Monday he wants to eliminate services, fraud and abuse to bring spending in line with California, which spends half as much per capita as New York.
Andrew Cuomo's plan is similar to his fathers'. Invite more of his supporters to New York to get free services at the expense of hardworking taxpayers like yourself. Cuomo is being backed by the same crooks in health care that got us in this mess. They have no incentive to get us out of it. In fact, they stand to benefit by keeping the status quo. On November 2, you have a choice as to which plan is better. The rent is too damn high!
Cutting off the hands of thieves – allowed under the Iranian judiciary's strict reading of sharia law – has been rare in Iran in recent years, but the amputation was the second this month. A week ago, a judge ordered the same punishment for a man who stole from a sweet shop, though he can still appeal against that ruling.
The 32-year-old convict whose hand was cut off at a prison in the central city of Yazd had committed four robberies and other crimes. Iranian state radio did not elaborate or identify the prisoner by name.
There were no details on how the punishment was carried out. There have been conflicting reports in the past, with some saying amputations were done in the early 1980s without medical supervision. A recent news report said they would now be carried out with anesthetic.
At least they are now using anesthetics. Does this mean the Iranian criminal justice system is becoming soft?
